WARM DIM LED STRIPS

In Warm Dim applications, the intensity of the light and the CCT are linked, with the CCT getting warmer as the light is dimmed down, and cooler when the light is brightened. In tunable applications, the CCT and intensity of the light are controlled independently, giving the user more control. Therefore, you can have bright and warm illumination, cool and dim illumination, or anything in between.

FAQs

  • What are Warm Dim LED strips? Warm Dim LED strips are designed to mimic the behavior of incandescent lights by transitioning to warmer color temperatures as the light is dimmed.
  • How do Dynamic White LED strips differ from Warm Dim? Dynamic White LED strips offer independent control of intensity and CCT, enabling a full range of lighting options, unlike Warm Dim strips where CCT changes with intensity.
  • Which applications are best suited for Warm Dim LED strips? Warm Dim strips are ideal for settings where ambiance is key, such as restaurants, homes, and hotels.
  • What power supplies are compatible with Warm Dim and Dynamic White LED strips?
Warm Dim strips can be powered by 0-10 input or 2-wire phased dim drivers, or a non-dim power supply paired with a SW SCENE Dongle. To properly power a DW strip in a tunable application, pair a Non-Dim power supply with an AW SCENE Dongle, or select a 0-10V Adjustable White or Tunable driver.
  • Are both Warm Dim and Dynamic White energy efficient? Yes, both technologies provide energy-efficient solutions while delivering superior lighting quality and control.
