BENDIT flexible metal channels offer a secure and adaptable solution for mounting Q-CAP fixtures. The Q-CAP flexible encapsulated LED family delivers stunning lines of high-quality light, thanks to QTL's high CRI LED strips. These luminaires provide versatile bend options, including up/down, side-to-side, and helical bends. With various LED light engines, wattages, color temperatures, and mounting options, Q-CAP fixtures are adaptable to a wide range of applications.

BENDIT channels provide robust support and flexibility, allowing for precise positioning and enabling creative, dynamic lighting designs. They can be easily screwed into surfaces to hold flexible LED fixtures in place, even when mixing BOXA and ZALA profiles to create compound curves. Additionally, BENDIT channels can be recessed into ceilings and walls, offering a unique, modern look.

BENDIT Channel Options

BENDIT channels are made from stainless steel and are available in three finishes:

  1. Uncoated: Low cost, ideal for indirect view applications.
  2. White: Blends seamlessly with the Q-CAP housing, perfect for direct view.
  3. Black: Complements KURV-BK’s black housing for a cohesive look.

Channel Information

  1. Mounting: BENDIT channels mount onto surfaces using self-tapping flat head screws.
  2. Sizes: Available in 16’ or 32’ rolls.
  3. Field Cuttable: Easily cut to the required length for your project.
  4. Bending Direction: Channels bend in one direction, either up/down or side-to-side, to suit your design needs.

How to Use BENDIT Channels

  1. Mounting: Secure the BENDIT channel onto the desired surface using self-tapping flat head screws. Ensure the channel is firmly in place to hold the Q-CAP fixture securely.
  2. Cutting: Use metal shears to cut the BENDIT channel to the required length.
  3. Bending: Bend the channel in the specified direction (up/down or side-to-side) to create the desired shape. The flexibility of the channel allows for creative and dynamic lighting designs.
  4. Installing the Fixture: Once the BENDIT channel is securely mounted and shaped, place the Q-CAP fixture into the channel. Ensure that the fixture fits snugly and is aligned correctly for a smooth finish.
